Birthday Celebration.

I am just now getting around to sharing about my birthday. My actual birthday was pretty much the worst. It was filled with a horrible test, studying for another test, moving, and a few breakdowns. We celebrated the weekend after and it was perfect. I was done with school for the summer and could just relax and enjoy it. We didn't do anything to fancy just got together with family at my favorite park in Tulsa. My mom packed a yummy picnic and I enjoyed just being outside and being surrounded by family. The park we like to go to is called Woodward park and it has beautiful gardens. Most of  the flowers were past there prime but it was still very nice!

Cooper got to go on his first excursion. He had never been on a leash because we live in the country and it's just not necessary. So this was his first time on a leash and he did great. I put it on him at home and he wasn't to happy so we walked around the yard with Gus on a leash too (Gus loves being on his leash) and Cooper quickly realized that it wasn't going to get him. He did perfect at the park!

 Little cousins.

Picnic!

Cutie.

Coopy is my baby and he is spoiled. I don't even really like small dogs but somehow he stole my heart.

More cousins. Adam is in that cool teenager stage of not smiling. I think this look is much better anyway. ;) The series of these pictures is quite humorous. Boys...

When we first got there it was a little warm but it ended up being a perfect afternoon and a great way to celebrate the end of the hardest school year of my academic career plus my birthday! Oh, it was also a celebration for my dad's birthday. His is one day before mine! :)

I'm starting to get my routine worked out so I should start to be a better blogger. :) Hopefully I can find some time to do a little redecorating around here too. It's time for an upgrade!

Cooper.

I just finished my 2nd test out of 4 this week. I think it went really well! The sun is shining and it is 80 degrees outside. I have my windows open, dug out my shorts and am now ready to start studying for the next test, immunology.

Today, I am thankful for Cooper. He is one of the sweetest and best dogs I have ever been around. He loves to snuggle, is only hyper for a few minutes and then he is ready to go back to sleep, and he is the best company anyone could ask for.

Seriously though, even people who don't like animals, love Cooper. Jacob, Macy's boyfriend, does not like animals and he was ready to take Cooper back to school with them.

He burps really loud, like a baby, every time he gets a drink. It makes me laugh everytime. Sometimes I have a hard time studying because he will snuggle up in my arms and I just can't put him down. He is seriously like a little baby, except I can leave him in my apartment by himself. ha

He weighs 5 pounds and his hair is super, soft and fluffy which makes him all the more cuddly.

He loves it when people talk to him. He will tilt his head back and forth like he is really trying to figure out what in the world you are saying.

Don't get me wrong, I love my other 2 dogs just as much. It's just that Cooper comes back to my apartment with me every week. My apartment isn't big enough for the other two. It's barely big enough for Cooper.

Cooper came into my life at just the right time and I love him to pieces. He is definitely my baby!

Enjoy the sunshine for me!

winter wheat.

When we walked out of church today, I think the temperature had dropped about 20 degrees. Goodness, it was cold!

So, naturally, we still went on a walk with the dogs. We bundled up and headed out.

This picture cracks me up. Gus has head turned almost all the way around, looking for Cooper and us. ha

The only coat he had was his fire jacket...
The wheat is really pretty right now. It's so green! Especially since everything else is so brown.

The dogs had quite a time running around in it.

My camera couldn't keep up with Gussy...

Love these boys!

I couldn't keep up with Cooper either. He was like a little rabbit, hopping around!  He was soaked and tired in about 10 sec.

Green!
It was just a short walk since this is basically in my front yard but we had fun.

We laid around the rest of the afternoon. My dad started a fire in the fireplace and it was a very relaxing afternoon. :)

Kody and I went to the only place within 30 minutes of us for supper, Pizza Hut. ha It was a hot date. ha It was perfect to me though. :) We are now watching Beauty and the Beast (that's right... I said Beauty and the Beast) and I'm about to start studying. We are such party animals...

Now for some fun news! :)

I have been looking for a fun linkup to participate in. It will be my first! :)

I'm looking forward to (and slightly nervous about) the vlog linkup over at Erin and Ashley's! It should be interesting... hopefully it will help you get to know me a little better and you won't think I am a total bore.

Should be fun and you guys should join in! :)

Well I better get to studying!
