The Farm

Between all the family members we have about 6,000 acres. (I asked my dad and he said that was an approximation because he wasn't sure anymore. ha)

We grow soybeans...

Corn...

My dad combining corn.
And wheat.

Nice and green in the winter.

Grandpa combing wheat.
We also have a feed mill where we make custom feed for people. We also make our own chicken feed.

Planting soybeans. (No till)
We have about 30,000 laying hens: some cage-free and some that are caged.

Cage-free.
Caged.
We sell the eggs to local grocery stores and restaurants.

Candling. Part of the grading process before they can be sold.

My cousin has cows that I also post quite a bit about.
