Thanksgiving

These two pictures basically sum up why I love my boyfriend and how we spent our Thanksgiving. :) 

I wish I could post more about Thanksgiving but I guess I should study... That is why this is so late. Finals are coming and then this semester is over! Finally!! Pray for me! I need to do really good on my finals to have a secure spot in vet school. Biochem just has way to much information to remember for one test... and my teacher isn't very good at narrowing things down in reviews. Happy studying to all my college friends!

The whole reason I was posting that blog was to publish some exciting news and I totally forgot! haha
I am going to be the Girl's Asst Dean at Ozark next semester! I think it is a great opportunity. I have really been praying about it and everything just seems to be falling into place. Plus it's closer to Kody! :) I know... sounds crazy! But, I think it will be really good for me to be around people again before I get into vet school and have no life...

opportunities

My life has just been crazy and will be for the next month until the semester is over. I went to Kody's last weekend for his birthday and then I had to feed this past weekend. Kody told me he wanted me to buy him boots for his birthday. Of course, I was excited! :) They are Ariat's like mine. His are just a "little" bigger and a little less pink...

He looks so handsome! 

I had a biochem test Friday so I have been studying like crazy! I think it went well... There are so many things I would like to blog about but I just don't have the time. 

I'm so excited about Thanksgiving! I can't wait to see everyone! 

I found these super cute pies in a jar on one of the many wedding blogs I like to look at. I think this would be perfect for my wedding someday! ;)

I have found a bunch of other super cute things. someday I'm gonna put it all together and post it on here just for fun! 

I guess I should study... boo! One more week... I know this is a lot of random things but I just wanted to put a few things up! 

Busy

One day I have nothing to do... the next I have so much to do that there is not enough time in the day to get it all accomplished! Funny how life does that to you... Maybe it's because when I don't have much to do I procrastinate, telling myself I will have plenty of time to do it later.

Something is wrong with me...

 For some reason I have really been in the mood for something pumpkin and I really wanted to make it from scratch. I usually don't like baking or cooking but I since I have nothing else to do when I'm at school I kind of have been getting more into it. I got this recipe from allrecipes.com They are pumpkin chocolate chip muffins. I added pecans and used mini chocolate chips. They are really really yummy. Especially for this time of year! :) I love fall!

I also made some pasta stuff that sounded really disgusting but had really good reviews so I tried it. It has sour cream, mayonnaise, and artichoke hearts. I added mushrooms to it and used vege chik patties for chicken. It really was good! Different but actually quite yummy! :) It's not real pretty so I didn't take a picture. ha

Weekend Recharge!

This weekend was definitely good for me! Kody came over and the kids too. We played with playdoh, carved pumpkins, played outside, rode the four-wheeler, celebrated Brett's Birthday, and got to see Carrie Underwood in concert! :) Here are a few pictures from the fun weekend we had...

 He thought it was "yucky" and wouldn't touch it so this was pretending for the picture. haha

 We went to the park for the party! It was a gorgeous evening.

 She is my inspiration. Not only does she have a great voice but she put on a great show and she is a great person on the inside too! She "flew" around in the back of this truck so she got really close to us. The closest one is even more blurry but the back of the truck said Carrie. It really was a great show! :)  Definitely recommend it to everyone!

It was a great weekend and I'm ready to get lots done this week! I already took Biology subject test so I'm just trying not to worry about it. It's in God's hands now. I can't do anything else. If this is what I'm supposed to do it will work out. 

Friday is my fall break so I have a short week. Yay! 

Come As You Are...

I have already posted that I am super frustrated with parts of my life right now, but today I am sick and just emotional I guess. I never cry, but I was on my way back from class and heard this song on the radio. I just started bawling. This song doesn't even really have anything to do with me. I don't have a horrible past but it just hit me that God is always there for us. Even when we forget about Him and try to do things our way.  I'm not dying, I have an amazing family, a super wonderful boyfriend, a place to live, and money to buy groceries. I'm not lacking for anything. Maybe I get lonely sometimes, and feel like things aren't going my way, and maybe sometimes I mess up but God is always there for me and He has given me everything I need. I needed reminding and I'm really trying to look past the bad and look at the good.
